Alessia Avallone
Alessia Avalone is the founder of Language of Sound, established in 2017 as an eclectic hub for creative direction: artist management agency, curatorial platform and a record label. Born in Naples and now based in London, Alessia's background in History, Art History, and Philosophy has deeply influenced her holistic approach to artistic representation. Her career took root in the early 2000s as a member of the underground House Music scene, where she was facilitating collaborations with prominent British and Italian art institutions. Alessia's approach is defined not by genre but by ethos, highlighting unique artistic visions across a spectrum that includes Lyra Pramuk’s post-genre innovations, Ron Trent's deep house philosophy, Gigi Masin’s delicate Neoclassicism, and the mesmerizing sound-art experiments of Soundwalk Collective with Patti Smith, among others. In 2022, she launched the Language Of Sound label, a platform committed to featuring politically and socially conscious artists from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
